History
Established in 1993, High Progress Machinery SDN. BHD., hereinafter referred to as HPM; was founded by Mr. Masaru Murakami as a Malaysian Branch for Hokushin Co. Ltd. which is located in Tokyo, Japan. 2019 - Relocated the Head Office to Towa-Cho, Hanamaki-shi, Iwate. During the early stages of its establishment, there were two joint ventures which helped HPM grow. HPM was tasked to do bearing assembly and manufacture hard drive housing respectively by the two companies.
In 1998, the company changed its direction and started to process parts from the main branch in Japan as
well as some local businesses, mainly in manufacturing electrical and electronic precision machining
parts. Another joint venture was also formed within the same year, with a newly built company in India
where HPM provided the technical support as well as machines for their production. With such diversity in
its production history, today, HPM produces high quality precision parts for both Japanese and local
market.
Among the parts manufactured in HPM are:

- Key Lock Parts (Housing, Cylinder, Ring & Others)
